Got a little busy and didn't have time to dropby until one Friday..
I had a no-pay leave so I dropped by Cityhall to get my hamper before I went to ShaMei's chalet..



My Hamper.. :) The bed is not my house bed hor.. It's the chalet bed... :D

So, what do I think of Acnes Cream Wash?
It's a normal cleanser.

Yes, to me this is a normal cleanser. I'm not going to bullshit and say this is damn good. I believe everyone have different taste and likes, and have different skin conditions so I do not want to bluff people and say this is a very good product when to me it's just a normal cleanser.

(Out) Look: I'm not used to the outlook. Looks a bit complicated to me?
(In) Look: Normal creamy/foam cleanser look?
Smell: Average, not too strong. (A tinge of lime?)
Foam-ability: Easy to foam.
Clean-ability: Overall cleans well, doesn't leave any stingy or tight feeling.
Affordability: Not expensive. (Teenager OK)
Most sutiable for: Teenager! (My brothers are currently using)
Would I buy: Maybe. I actually bought for my brothers to use but they didn't really love it very very much so I guess I might not purchase it again)

Additional words: Personally, I prefer another cleanser so I don't think I will purchase this for myself to use. If you have yet to find your prefect cleanser, you can give this a try! Fr3b has free samples!

Received quite a number of mails recently.

It's one of my favourite packs. I find skinfood's products packaging really pretty. :)
And yes I do think skinfood samples are "Must-grab" items as they are really good and always run out very fast ah! Don't say I didn't warn ya..



Title: Skinfood Honey Black Tea Jelly Foam
Rated: 4/5
Like: Easy to foam
Dislike: Smell
Main Review: I like this cleanser very very much!! When I see the word jelly I'm so scared that it'll turn out to be all gel-like and more oily then foamy which I prefer. End up I put a bit on my hand, rub and it's easy to foam up! It's not drying & my skin didn't feel oily at all! I love it! Only minus point is the smell. I'm not very used to it, but if it's going to keep my pimples away, I'll heck the smell. :) $27.60 is a little bit expensive for me, but I still might get it. :p
Will I Buy It: Yes



Title: Skinfood Lettuce And Cucumber Water Drop Essence
Rated: 3/5
Like: Smell
Dislike: A bit "oily"
Main Review: I love the smell. Texture not gel-like, not too creamy, not too water-y more like lotion-y. Easily absorbed but if put too much can be a tiny bit sticky for a while. I used it like a moisturiser, wonders if that's the correct way.. Overall good impression of this product, but the price is a bit steep and I don't really know what it actually does to my skin other than a bit of moisturising effect. :)
Will I Buy It: Maybe



Title: Skinfood Tomato Whitening Toner and Emulsion
Rated: 4/5
Like: Smell and not stingy.
Dislike: Emulsion a bit sticky.
Main Review: If you're the type who's really lazy to use toner or you can't find a good toner that doesn't have strong alcohol smell, this toner is for you!! I'm one very good example of lazy people lah. If a product is not something I like or enjoy using I'm very lazy to use it. :p I love the toner because of the smell and also it's not stingy at all. :) The Emulsion is a bit sticky though but it smells nice and it's not creamy. :) I used the emulsion as a moisturiser hopefully that's the correct way. The price is quite steep at $52 each, I think I might purchase the toner and not the emulsion.
Will I Buy It: Maybe



Title: GATSBY Oil Clear Sheet
Rated: 3/5
Like: Big piece
Dislike: Blue film. Don't ask me why I just didn't like it. :p
Main Review: I'm not a frequent user of blotters (which explains my shiny face in some of my photos). I got the blue one, it's rather big piece. I find it quite similar to the Clean and Clear one which I tried, back in my secondary school days. I remember I used another brand which is more translucent one. I prefer that one, but sadly I don't really remember the brand name now. :( For this, if it's not expensive I might get it since it's big piece and I don't have to use too many pieces if I do need to get rid of the oils..
Will I Buy It: Maybe

15th Pack of Free Samples review (For girls)

I know some people thinks that there's no reason for me to get so many samples and then out of these, some of them don't suit my skin or whatever. They think it's a waste of time and money (small shipping and handling fee). But whenever I try a product and it doesn't work well, I actually feel sightly relive. Imagine if I bought the actual retail size product then find out that it doesn't really suits me, wouldn't that be a real waste of money and time?

Title: Bioessence Tanaka White Perfecting Lotion SPF15
Rated: 3/5
Like: Different, doesn't stink or sting.
Dislike: Not sure what it does.
Main Review: This lotion is quite different from what I had expected, in a good way. I was expecting more like a liquidy tonner-like water thingy. When I first squeeze some out onto my cotton pad, I was surprised that it looks white and creamy. I'm not a cream person you see, so it kinda put me off. When I drab some all over my face, it didn't have the creamy feeling. It's actually more lotion-y rather than creamy but I guess I seldom use lotions so don't know that it's actually lotion when I see it's white in colour. :p The smell is acceptable and it didn't stink my skin. I like how it feels on my skin. I put this on before using the Night cream, feeling's not too bad. I quite like it actually. :p But I don't really see much whitening effect unless you count putting too much white liquid stuffs on my face as "whitening". -.-
Will I Buy It: Maybe



Title: Bioessence Tanaka White Renewal Night Cream

Like: No strong smell & breakouts
Dislike: Not a big fan of creams. :p
Main Review: Yes, I'm not a big fan of creams cause I hate the oily-oily feeling that most creams gives me. This night cream is not too bad when it's being used moderatly. No strong smell and it didn't caused me breakouts which I'm rather relived. Used it with the Tanaka Lotion. Didn't really see much whitening effect but my face did felt mosturised when I wake up. :)

Like: Not more bad smell..
Dislike: -
Main Review: I've never seen this brand before. Maybe cause I'm too used to buying the same few brands so seldom look at the shelfs carefully. :p This is the first pad that I came across that has an expiry date on the packaging.. Maybe the others also have expiry dates but I've never really notice. hahas. I guess it's because of the materials used to make the pad or something so got expiry date.. Once you open the packaging you'll smell something and I think it's this smell that helps to take away the bad smell. I like that it's cotton-y soft and it didn't gave me any itch. :) Not bad, but I'm not sure if it's expensive though.

Title: Laurier F Day napkin 22.5cm

Like: Comfy and thin.
Dislike: Too thin.
Main Review: I know my dislike and like crashed again. Okay I like the pad thin cause it's easy to keep and bring around and it feels barely there. But this barely there feeling does makes me worry that it'll leak. I know there's another size for night use but I'm the kind who would just grab and use so whenever I use the day one at night I'll feel a bit uneasy. but it's really comfy really. :)
Will I Buy It: Yes

Title: BIO ESSENCE Face Lifting Cream
Rated: 3/5
Like: Smell is acceptable and so far no breakouts
Dislike: Stingy feeling
Main Review: Doesn't see the effect that some people are raving about. Maybe I'm fated to have fat face. Anyway those who have read some of my past reviews would know that I don't really like creams but this cream is not too "rich" so it didn't cause any breakout. :) I dislike the stingy feeling so it's a good thing that it didn't take long for it to go away. Price wise, I'm not too sure how much it cost, but if it's over $30 I don't think I would purchase it. :p

Like: Nothing as of now.
Dislike: Smell, expensive and sticky feeling.
Main Review: When I first recieve the pack I was suprised to find that the product card mainly has Korean words on it. The only words that I know were the English names of the product "Moisturizing Water Cream" and "Water Balance Essenserum?". The names on the sachet were "Water Balance Essenserum" and "Moisturizing Innovation", so I guess the latter should be "Moisturizing Water Cream". Tried the essenserum first and I was instantly put off by the smell. I'm not sure if it's Jasmine flower or something but it's quite strong and I don't really like it. Nothing much to rave about. Then I tried the cream. The cream gave me the sticky oily feeling and I don't like it. :( Maybe suitable for those with dry skin. It's quite expensive so you wouldn't see me buying this product unless someone ask me to help them buy.
Will I Buy It: No



Title: Rojukiss Spot Light BB Cream
Rated: 2/5
Like: -
Dislike: Thick, doesn't suit me that well.
Main Review: Was a little dissapointed maybe had high expeactation after reading a couple of good reviews. It's not "light" and I actually felt that it's a bit heavy and oily for me. Will try the 2nd pack when I have the time.

Title: Capital Soleil Milk Gel Protection SPF50
Rated: 3/5
Like: Easily absorbed
Dislike: Sticky
Main Review: It doesn't stink (smell) and is not overly oily.. but it's a bit sticky if you put too much though. Sample is easily absorbed, so when I don't remember where I put I end up putting double or triple times on the same few areas. Sample size is enough to cover my arms and legs. Kinda left it on overnight, I've yet to wash it off, my arms and legs feels quite smooth. Nice. :) The voucher expires December 08 so I don't think I will get to use it. Might get it for long term use if I'm going to start running again.

They will send it to your doorstep/mailbox for a small delivery and handling fee which ranges from $0.80 to $ 4.08, depending on the weight of the samples you choose.
