Review : Memory Foam Mat

Yes, online shopping again~

Okay just a short story... The few times that I met the delivery man at the door as I leave my house [he was delivering things to my neighbour (whom I presume is also a online shop shopaholic like me.) :P] Instead of "hello" he would say "don't have your parcel" so that I can leave home without waiting to see if I have any parcels with him. :P

Item : Stripes Memory Foam Mat
Price : $5.30 each (additional charge for shipping)

Product Review :
I was using another mat that my mum bought and also the cheap Ikea one that I bought a long while ago.. Both didn't feel that good as it doesn't dry our feet well and feels rough on our feet. This foam mat is good. It's very soft and does it's job well. :D

Usage :
Open package, put mat on the floor with the softer part facing up. lol.

Bought 1 in beige and 1 in purple.

Beige matches the colours of my house.

Purple is really sweet looking. :D

Will I recommend it? :
Yes I will. Even though it's not cheap it's really comfortable so it's worth the price. I love how it feels under my feet. Every morning it makes me happy when I step on it before I step into the bathroom.

Review : Slap Chop

Item : Slap Chop / Chopper Machine
Price : $5.50 (Qoo10)

Service Review :
The items were sent out timely, received them in 2-3 days. Ordered on 1st April, received on 4th April.

Product Review :

Material :
Disappointed as it's flimsy, probably get what I paid for.
Should not have expected much for $5.50...
Size is slightly bigger than expected.

Usage :
Fairly easy to use but results not what I wanted.
Used it on smaller items like garlic and onion, they get stuck at the blades area..
Used it on bigger items like tomatoes and stuffs, they get stuck too. ><

Would I recommend it? :
No. It's a waste of money.

Review : Clothes Folding Board

Item : Clothes Folding Board
Price : $6.50 not including postage.

Product Review :
I've seen this product many times but never though of purchasing it as it looks bulky and it wasn't cheap. When I saw that it's available for only $6.60 I decide to purchase it.

Application :
Easy to use! They include an instruction sheet with the board so that you can follow the instruction to fold all types of clothes. Tops, Dress, Long Pants and Long Sleeve Tops!

Colour :
Didn't get to choose the colour, but it's least of my concern cause I am not displaying it haha just take out to use when I need to fold clothes..

Extra detail :
Folding clothes becomes easier and the thing that I like most is that now my cupboard looks a little bit neater! I have many clothes with different cutting and no matter how I fold them, they always end up different size, making the clothes pile really ugly. With this folding board my clothes dun topple so easily when I put them in a stack anymore and because it's neater it's quite easy to spot the different clothes too!

Love it!

Review : Mr. Home Star Mold Remover by LG Household and Health Care

Item: Mr. Home Star Mold Remover by LG Household and Health Care
Price: S$4.99 for 1 tube not including shipping

Service Review:
Quick Delivery, bought with a few other items and it's here in a couple of days. Items are also carefully packed.

Product Review:
Application: Super Easy! It came with a applicator attached to the tube so it's really easy to dispense/apply on the affected area.

Things to note: Make sure the area you want to apply the gel is dry (water will dilute the gel and it wouldn't be as effective). Apply and leave it on for a while and you will see it disappear, for tougher ones leave the gel overnight or do a few rounds of application. To add on, do spam lots of product instead of just a thin layer as it loses it's effect when dried up.

Effect: This product is awesome! It helped me get rid of mold that's on the silicon area in my bathroom. As shown in the after and before photo (this is the basin area in the other toilet). I apply a lot cause I believe a bit sure not enough for my many many years of mold but within 45mins like that most of it gone!

Colour/Smell: The gel is clear so have to let family members know when you apply it cause it's not obvious and they may wash it off unknowingly. The only downside is the slight pungent smell but the smell goes away after you've washed it off so it's not that bad.

Would I buy it again: Yes I would! I had another model remover product I tried it in my bathroom and it didn't work cause it's liquid it doesn't stay on the wall/silicon. This gel stays on the silicon and does it job so yes I will get it again and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for mold remover. :)

Internet is a life saver : Mummy's woes.

So yesterday I found this on my wooden floor!

I normally keep my permanent markers on the table, away from my child.
(yes I know it's toxic luh, no need to go all self righteous on me k..
^ me being paranoid.)
Now I guess I have to keep it on a higher shelf..

Decide to google on the solution and was hoping that it will not be too difficult..
and I chance upon this post..

Was a little sceptical about it, decide to try it out nonetheless as toothpaste is like the most readily available item I have. :D

1-2mins later (a bit of scrubbing using a dry cloth).. and it's almost all gone!

If there's no internet I would probably have to like go to those diy shops and look for special solutions or stuffs like that to remove the stains/marks.. :P

oh well. so now you know..

To remove permanent marker from wood floor, you can use toothpaste and scrub it a little. :D
It's like magic in my eyes to see the ink disappearing.. :P
