Crazy books shopping on taobao.

Taobao is one of my favourite place to do online shopping so recently I spent $499 (including gst, shipping and delivery cost for approx 30kg parcel) and I decide to record some of the items right here for future reference :D

Next few photos are story books and activity books I bought to fill up the book shelves in my house. :P  (Approx $365 for 181 books + 66 mini booklets!)

My recent purchase on cotton on. :D

Well.. recently I've expended (expecting) so of cause I need to buy new clothes right? :P

Can no longer fit in some of the clothes so I decide to order some clothes online.. Cotton on was having an online sale so I decide to order through them. :D

Ordered on 5th, received on 8th, which is not too bad considering that delivery was free. :D

I bought total 12 pieces (7 Shorts, 1 dress (sleepwear) and 4 tees) for only $55 including delivery! That's less than $5 per piece!

Clothes are comfortable (soft and not "prickly") and sizing runs big. I'm usually wearing size L clothes but for this order almost all items are size M and there's room to spare!

I was wearing my old pregnancy dresses (yes the ones from 2012) but I had to jab 4x a day and lifting up my dress to jab my tummy is just not very convenient so I'm stuck with shorts and tees for a long while.. Good thing I'm a SAHM, so I am practically dressed down everyday haha. Tees and Shorts for staying at home, marketing, bringing W to school... :D

I own a top from Uniqlo and really love it, however I find that the items in the shops are often out of my budget (SAHM = not much budge to shop).

When I saw AIRism Tops on online exclusive sale I ordered a few for my family. :D

Service Review :

Overall okay but the delivery service can be improved.

Ordered on 22nd April, receive confirmation and tracking code on 23rd April.

On 24th April delivery was unsuccessful, remarked "Delivery could not be completed due to inclement weather conditions". This I understand as it was raining quite a bit the whole month..

On 25th April, Delivery personnel did not deliver parcel, instead he/she left a notice at my gate! I know this because that morning my husband is at the kitchen fixing breakfast for me. He was at most 2metres away for the door and no one knocked or even press on the door bell! We saw the notice 2mins after he left it there! It's on a Saturday so I was forced to collect the parcel 2 days later (Monday 27th April).

Product Review :

All 3 of us, hubby, little one and myself love the tops! It's soft, very comfortable and really suitable to be worn at home or as a inner piece. It's stretchy and really feels cooler wearing it (awesome for the recent heat wave).

Would I recommend it? :

Yes I would. Especially their sale items! Value for money and the quality is really good. :D

Review : Memory Foam Mat

Yes, online shopping again~

Okay just a short story... The few times that I met the delivery man at the door as I leave my house [he was delivering things to my neighbour (whom I presume is also a online shop shopaholic like me.) :P] Instead of "hello" he would say "don't have your parcel" so that I can leave home without waiting to see if I have any parcels with him. :P

Item : Stripes Memory Foam Mat

Product Review :
I was using another mat that my mum bought and also the cheap Ikea one that I bought a long while ago.. Both didn't feel that good as it doesn't dry our feet well and feels rough on our feet. This foam mat is good. It's very soft and does it's job well. :D

Usage :
Open package, put mat on the floor with the softer part facing up. lol.

Bought 1 in beige and 1 in purple.

Beige matches the colours of my house.

Purple is really sweet looking. :D

Will I recommend it? :

Yes I will. Even though it's not cheap it's really comfortable so it's worth the price. I love how it feels under my feet. Every morning it makes me happy when I step on it before I step into the bathroom.

Material :

Disappointed as it's flimsy, probably get what I paid for.

Should not have expected much for $5.50...

Size is slightly bigger than expected.

Usage :
Fairly easy to use but results not what I wanted.

Used it on smaller items like garlic and onion, they get stuck at the blades area..

Used it on bigger items like tomatoes and stuffs, they get stuck too. ><

Would I recommend it? :
No. It's a waste of money.

Cotton On Online Purchase + Art Stencil for my toddler

I love free shipping and I love sales.

Fine Motor Skill : Stencil Kit

This Stencil kit is really worth it!

Usual Price is $17.95 but it's only $5 during sale!

Originally thought it's a small stencil but it's actually 10 huge stencil.

Here's my little one exploring the stencil using Homemade Paint and a little sponge.

It's fun and it's reusable!
