14th Pack of Free Samples review

This is a super overdue sample pack.
Requested and got this pack sometime in late November and I didn't really have the time to sample everything until yesterday when I tried the sunblock. :)

Title: BIO ESSENCE Face Lifting Cream
Rated: 3/5
Like: Smell is acceptable and so far no breakouts
Dislike: Stingy feeling
Main Review: Doesn't see the effect that some people are raving about. Maybe I'm fated to have fat face. Anyway those who have read some of my past reviews would know that I don't really like creams but this cream is not too "rich" so it didn't cause any breakout. :) I dislike the stingy feeling so it's a good thing that it didn't take long for it to go away. Price wise, I'm not too sure how much it cost, but if it's over $30 I don't think I would purchase it. :p
Will I Buy It: Maybe

Title: Kelly Water Set
Rated: 1/5
Like: Nothing as of now.
Dislike: Smell, expensive and sticky feeling.
Main Review: When I first recieve the pack I was suprised to find that the product card mainly has Korean words on it. The only words that I know were the English names of the product "Moisturizing Water Cream" and "Water Balance Essenserum?". The names on the sachet were "Water Balance Essenserum" and "Moisturizing Innovation", so I guess the latter should be "Moisturizing Water Cream". Tried the essenserum first and I was instantly put off by the smell. I'm not sure if it's Jasmine flower or something but it's quite strong and I don't really like it. Nothing much to rave about. Then I tried the cream. The cream gave me the sticky oily feeling and I don't like it. :( Maybe suitable for those with dry skin. It's quite expensive so you wouldn't see me buying this product unless someone ask me to help them buy.
Will I Buy It: No

Title: Rojukiss Spot Light BB Cream
Rated: 2/5
Like: -
Dislike: Thick, doesn't suit me that well.
Main Review: Was a little dissapointed maybe had high expeactation after reading a couple of good reviews. It's not "light" and I actually felt that it's a bit heavy and oily for me. Will try the 2nd pack when I have the time.
Will I Buy It: Maybe

Title: Capital Soleil Milk Gel Protection SPF50
Rated: 3/5
Like: Easily absorbed
Dislike: Sticky
Main Review: It doesn't stink (smell) and is not overly oily.. but it's a bit sticky if you put too much though. Sample is easily absorbed, so when I don't remember where I put I end up putting double or triple times on the same few areas. Sample size is enough to cover my arms and legs. Kinda left it on overnight, I've yet to wash it off, my arms and legs feels quite smooth. Nice. :) The voucher expires December 08 so I don't think I will get to use it. Might get it for long term use if I'm going to start running again.
Will I Buy It: Maybe

I got free stuffs again! Thanks to my blog viewers!

About 2 months ago I blogged about being the top 20 Referrals for fr3b in the month of November 2008. You can read my "Thank You speech" there. :p

Anyway, really thanks to those readers/viewers who joined Singapore 1st online sampling platform through my blog and Fr3b and also this month's sponsor, Lioele I've got more free stuffs today! :)

So here's my reward for being the top 20 referral for fr3b in the month of December 2008.

This time I cabbed down to Bugis just to collect my reward. :)

It comes in a pretty nice box.

I know the colour shown here is more red than pink, but it's really more pink than red irl (in real life).

Other than a mirror, I also got something special in the brown paper bag.. :)

Yummy donuts! I ate the chocolate one it's choco outside and choco inside! :)
Gave my brothers the pink one hahas. They didn't say it's nice or not...

Basically, it's a website from Singapore that allows locals to get samples for free.
They will send it to your doorstep/mailbox for a small delivery and handling fee which ranges from $0.80 to $ 4.08, depending on the weight of the samples you choose.

To date, I've redeem about 15-16 packs of free samples and have completed reviewing about 13 packs. I still have so many samples but so little time to try them! To read reviews of all the items I've sampled, you can click here.

If you like to try new stuffs without paying the full amount to get the retail size just to try, or feel paiseh to get free sample from counters, you should give this website a try. :)

Sample Siao.

These are the free samples I redeemed in the past 2 months...
I know I'm so crazy. :P
Some of them I paid for postage, some came with free postage but I think it's absolutely worth it! :D

Being a stay at home mum means I don't get to go out much to try things over the counter and having samples that I choose sent to my house, saves me time and energy~ Some of the items comes in retail sizes and it's really worth much more than the postage I paid!

Where to find a few hours writing reviews?
What I currently do is I try the product and then follow by writing a short review on SampleStore, once I've done all the items in a packet I will post the reviews here. :D Good strategy right? hahas.

There's usually 2-4 types of items in a pack. I go thru them quite fast sometimes depending on what kind of items and when can I use it.. :) Like skincare will take a while cause need to use a few times to see effect. Makeup is the easiest to review hahas but it's really rare to come across makeup samples. Hope to see more makeup samples. :p

Household stuffs are also fun for me to try because though I have been staying in my own house for a while I have not really tried different stuffs. Usually buys back the same brands as it's easier for my husband to buy them and no need to spend time thinking if this is better or that is cheaper... :)

Chicky got free masks!

Last week I came home to a yellow envelope on my mini tiny table.
Didn't order anything lately and wonders who's the sender..

Open it hurriedly, and ta dah~

It's 1 Neutrogena mask and 1 SK-II Mask!

It's from a reader, C.
I send her the leftover sample of the Lotree BB cream to try and she sent me 2 masks! That's so sweet of her. :)

I haven't got the chance to review the masks.. Plus the many packs of samples waiting for me to review them, but now really no time ah!! A lot of assignments to rush out. After assignments is exams. I promise I'll update with a couple of reviews once I'm done with my assignments k..
