uglyfatchick's readers get 50% discount!

Advertorial : Frinky's Sprees

I've been waiting for ages..
Yes, my first advertorial but this one is somewhat complementary for a friend.
You as a reader can gain from this!
So, read all the way to the end ok? :)

It's no secret that Shopping is my soft addiction.
I love to shop.
I love to find the best deal.
I love to buy pretty things..

And I love to participate in online sprees because I can buy pretty things at the comfort of my home + the fact that some items are cheaper than what's being sold in stores!

My regular spree handler increased her handling rates from $1 to $1.50 and I felt it's a bit too much for me to bare, therefore I stopped purchasing stuffs through her..

Then my hands got itchy. I needed my shopping spree addiction fix.
Together with ShaXiaoMei, we joined a pre-order for some rings and brooch from an online seller. Since 31 March till now, I've yet to get my stuffs!

I got a little unhappy so I decide to look for a good spree handler.
And that's how I decide to try my friend's service.

Sharon is my secondary school classmate and she owns Frinky's Sprees.
She has this on-going taobao spree which is damn cool.

Some pretty stuffs I just collected.

7 Reasons why you should spree with Frinky's Sprees.

http://frinkyspree.blogspot.com

One:
3 sprees are opened per month and each spree is open for only 10 days!
Which means you no longer have to wait FOREVER for a spree to close.

Two:
Even though she wrote that orders may take up to 4 weeks, I got my items in 2 weeks!
My previous regular spree handler takes more than 4 weeks!

Three:
Shipping charges are quite transparent, thus you can trust that she wouldn't anyhow charge you.
My previous spree handler collects $3 per item from us first, and even though she always say that she will give us the change back if it cost lesser, I never got any back from her and even have to pay extra sometimes..

Four:
Agent fee is only 11%! I've seen handlers charging 15% of total purchase!

Five:
Collection is at Tiong Bahru Taxi Stand.
Most handlers stay either all the way to the East of Singapore or all the way to the west of Singapore, so inconvenient loh. Tiong Bahru is located nearer to central and no matter where you stay, it's not too far away. :)

Six:
Handling fee is only $1.00 per item! As my reader, you would be able to get a super hot deal.
From now till end of June 2009, when you email her your order form, state that you are uglyfatchick's reader and you'll only pay $0.50 per item!

Seven: Save money by not paying those "extra middleman" aka blogshop owners..

I got these beautiful beautiful babies for half the price what some blogshops are selling at!!!

Remember, if you want to save more money, do quote that you're uglyfatchick's reader to get a 50% discount off handling fee! ;)
Till end of June 2009 only!!

10 Irritating Cab Experience by Chicky

I'm not rich, I always take public transport.
Cab/Taxi is counted as public transport right? :D

Anyway here are 10 Irritating Cab Experience that I wish never have to face again.

1. Smelly Cab.
I regret the instance I get on but I can't get off and say I don't want to take his cab right?

2. Driver does not know where is the location and expect me to tell him how to go.
*especially if it's a place like Marina Square! How can a taxi driver not know where is that??? -.-

3. Driver who's on the phone almost the whole time while driving, huge minus point for those talking super loudly! and somehow most of them speak so loudly as if the other party is semi-deaf de. -.-''

4. Driver in bad mood/likes to scold little girls like me.
When you ask me which route I want you to go by and I say no preference, or the fastest route, please do not scold me like I'm making life difficult for you!

5. Driver who keep coughing and sneezing throughout the ride.
Worse are those who like to use their hands to wipe everything and anything. Like HELLO?? what's a hanky or tissue for?
*I normally try to give the exact amount so I don't get any change..

6. Driver commenting on my life.
Which school I study at does not concern you, whether I'm too old to study a not doesn't concern you, whether I'm too young to get married also doesn't concern you. -.-

7. Drivers who make a big fuse and angrily take money out from their wallet when I give them a 50 dollar note for a $12-$16 ride.
Like Hello?? You have the change, can't you just give me the change and grumble less?? Not like the fare is $5 or something. -.-''

8. Driver who are super talkative and act like PI, keep asking me questions when I already show signs that I'm not interested in talking. *eg listen to mp3 using earphone or playing game on my ds or v9*

9. Driver who doesn't have a single coin on them or lazy to take them out and insist that I give them the exact change. I already say I don't have any coin then can't you just round down that 10-20cents if you really really don't have the change? -.-

10. Driver that like to suddenly step on break.
I'm not saying it happens like once in the whole ride. Sometimes it's a good 4-5 times!

Don't get me wrong, this is what I personally experienced and I don't hate all drivers. In fact, I've met many nice drivers in my life, so please don't say that I'm being unkind and stuffs k?

I've said my piece, so what's your most irritating cab experience?

You all never miss me! (3 Movies)

No one ask me to blog. :(
No one say they miss my blog entries. :(
No one miss me. :(
*sob sob*

Anyway.. Want to ask you all hor..
Should I stick to my normal straight "doll" bangs or side swept bangs?
For my normal fringe I'll need a fringe cut soon.. But if it's side swept, means I wouldn't be cutting it loh.. I know. I so mafan troublesome lah..

I just realise I have yet to post photo of me in my funny new specs.
Tadah~ Looks funny on me hor?

Less than 1 month to adulthood and I don't feel like growing up lar! :(

Been watching lots of movies lately..
Watched Shinjuku Incident & Detroit Metal City with hubby before he flew and L.O.V.E with my dearest Shaxiaomei..

Shinjuku Incident is the one with Jackie Chan acting as "bad guy".
NC16 due to some gore scenes. And most parts of the show is in Japanese! -.-''
I'm not a fan of blood and gory scenes but I still quite enjoy the show. It's interesting to see Jackie Chan acting as a "bad guy", committing crimes and stuffs.

Detroit Metal City rocks! Ken'ichi Matsuyama rocks in this show. Playing both characters so well, he is one of the best actors I've ever seen. Those who've watched him in the Death Note Series and "L Change the world" might want to catch DMC. His ability to have many different expressions, makes you laugh. It's another NC16 movie. Hubby was shocked by the lyrics of the songs cause he didn't know it's that vulgar. He enjoyed the movie. I think he laugh more than me loh! :p

L.O.V.E is combination of four short stories. So you're like watching 4 short movies for the price of one! Out of the 4 stories the ones I liked best is the first one and the last one. First one was so touching that I kept tearing lah. The second and third one didn't really left much impression on me, I couldn't even remember what happened. -.-'' The last one is very very very comical and of cause plus the fact that the 7 bang + Prince is so handsome! Argh.. I must have been brainwashed by ShaXiaoMei!!!
